Loving Something Into Existence
Why entrepreneurship is not just work but a relationship with possibility
When I think about it, building a business feels less like a strategy and more like love.
Because love is choosing to stay when it would be easier to walk away. Love is patience when the thing in front of you does not yet reflect what you know it could be. Love is sacrifice, showing up for something even when it drains you, even when it breaks your heart, even when you wonder if it will ever give back to you the way you give to it.
Entrepreneurship is the same. It is saying yes to something fragile, unproven, invisible to everyone else but you. It is pouring into an idea like it is already alive. It is protecting it, defending it, nurturing it, not because it is guaranteed to bloom, but because something in you believes it is worth the fight.
There are days where it feels like unrequited love. You give and give, and the business gives nothing back. The sales do not come, the support is not there, the results do not match the effort. But if you are still here, still building, it is because the love is stronger than the doubt.
And maybe that is what makes entrepreneurship so rare. It is not about numbers or hustle or even resilience. It is about devotion. It is about having the courage to fall in love with something that does not exist yet, then showing up every single day to help it grow into what you know it can be.
One day, when it all blossoms, the world will see the beauty. But you will know the truth. The real beauty was in the choosing, in the faith, in the love you carried before anyone else could.
